Baa Atoll

Baa Atoll is a breathtaking atoll in the central-western Maldives, renowned for its pristine islands, vibrant coral reefs, turquoise lagoons, and exceptional marine biodiversity. Designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 2011, it is especially famous for Hanifaru Bay, where large gatherings of manta rays and occasional whale sharks can be seen.

Baa Atoll is located in the central-western region of the Maldives and is one of the country's most ecologically important and naturally beautiful atolls.
