Bandaara Kilhi, meaning “State Lake,” is one of the two freshwater lakes found on Fuvahmulah Island in the Maldives. Located mainly within the Maalegan ward, with a small section extending into Miskiymagu ward, the lake is an important part of the island’s unique natural landscape.

Covering approximately 0.058 square kilometres and with an average depth of around 12 feet, Bandaara Kilhi is considered the largest lake in Fuvahmulah by water volume.
